I first photographed these two cuties when Alex was just a week old.  Wow....what a difference a year makes!  Zoe is almost 4, Alex is 14 months.  We met up at the park on Sunday afternoon to capture some fun, family time.  Zoe is just a natural in front of the camera while Alex wasn't so sure of me....He eventually warmed up to the camera and we had a fun day! 2 year olds make me work!  I had such a nice afternoon with the "e" family today and Bradley couldn't have been more fun!  This adorable little guy is going to be 2 next week and boy does he like to run.  I think we spent a good part of the afternoon running with a little bit of peek-a-boo and a lot of jumping......and there may or may not have been goldfish crackers involved!  Candace and Danny, it was so nice to meet you today. 2009 was a fabulous year and I want to thank my fantastic clients for making it such.  I had so much fun meeting so many new families.  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to capture your babies, children and families and I hope to have the opportunity to see you all again in the future.  Many wishes for a wonderful 2010!

Today was another fabulous day at my favorite park in Pleasanton with another sweet family!  I met up with the "Z" family for their family portraits and had a blast.  Jackson and Wyatt are twins....just a little over 2 years old.  We did lots of exploring today, walked the bridge, visited the barn where they were looking for "hows" (cows).  Unfortunately we didn't see any cows but they had fun playing with sticks and jumping off of tree stumps.  These kiddos were super cute and as per usual.....had Blue, Blue eyes!  Amy and Mike, here are a few of my favorites from our session.  I'll be in touch soon with your full album.  Hope you enjoy the images :)

I know I've said it before and I'll say it again.....I LOVE photographing clients year after year.  You might remember this family from last year.  Evan is days away from 3 years old....and let me tell you that he made me work!  Even though he wasn't up for pictures when they first arrived at the park, I quickly got him to change his mind.  He was a ham by the end of the session.  We had a fun morning together and I think we got some great images.  Andrea and Jeff.....here are a few of my favorites from our session.  I'll have your album soon!

My most photographed family :)  The "R" family has been such a fun family to photograph over the last few years and I have really enjoyed watching Peyton and Riley grow.  With their red hair and blue, blue eyes, you can't help but love capturing them on camera.  I have an even harder time putting their pictures in black and white :).  These kiddos have such personality and truly are the center of mom and dad's world. We spent this past Sunday taking their annual family photographs at this great new location I came across in Pleasanton.  I think I have a new favorite picture location!!! I love having repeat clients because it gives me the opportunity to see how much the kids have grown.  I had the pleasure of photographing twins, Will and Emily at just a week old.  They were so teeny, tiny and super cute.  Look how much they have grown, along with big sister Sarah!  All three are adorable and were so fun to photograph at the park.  I think they all have a thing for the swings.....you couldn't wipe the smiles off their face.  Maia and Paul, here are a few of my favorites from our session.  I'll have your full album for you soon!

When Kim emailed me a few weeks ago about her family portraits, I was so excited!  Kim and I worked together about 12 years ago for Invasion tours.  She was based in Texas and I was in Southern California.  While we really only saw each other on Ski trips and Grad trips, we always had a great time!  We recently reconnected via Facebook and I learned that she lived in Northern California.....just a few hours from me.  She's now married and has two adorable boys, Patrick and Quinn.  We met up along the American River in Folsom and did some exploring along the rivers edge.  We also found a really cool, wood walking bridge.  Kim, I had a great time meeting your family and so much fun capturing your time together.  Here's a sneak peek for you!!  I hope you enjoy the images.  :)

Meet the W family......The family with 3 kids that have the most beautiful blue eyes.  How is it that all of my clients have amazing eyes!!  We spent some time together this past weekend taking their family holiday portraits at one of my favorite parks in Livermore.  It turned out to be a super windy day but I still think we pulled off some great shots.  This family was so sweet and their kiddos were adorable.  Everett and Gretta are twins and were quite the explorers, while big sister Collette just loved being in front of the camera.  Micki....Here's your sneak peek from our session.  I hope you enjoy these images and I'll have your online album for you soon!!

Session 3 of 4 in SoCal.  Saturday afternoon of the weekend I was in SoCal, I got to meet up with a good friend in Huntington Beach.  We took her two adorable daughters to the park so I could capture some play time with them.  Mikayla and Megan were so much fun and having a blast on the slides and the swings.  In just a short month and a half, these two will be welcoming a new baby sister to their family.  I can't wait to meet the newest baby M.  Melissa.....I'm so glad we were able to get together.  Here's your sneak peek!

Session 2 of 4 of my So Cal day.  Meet the "D" family.  Another long time friendship that goes back to 10th grade.  I've been photographing this family over the last several years and one of the best parts of this job is getting to watch the families grow.  Not only have the kids gotten older, but they have added two more to the mix since I had my very first session with them.  This was a fun session and while I was a little nervous about getting 6 people to look at me at the same time so we could get at least 1 family picture, the day turned out great.  Jody and Christian, here's your sneak peek!  Hope you enjoy them :)

Party of 9!  Two sets of parents, a 7 year old, 4.5 year old, 3 year old and 2 year old twins.  I was definitely up for the challange.  What a fun double family session this was.  The "T" family lives here locally and her brother and family, the "E" family, were visiting from New Jersey......what a perfect time for a family session.  I had such a great time hanging out with these families......just makes me love what I do more and more each day.  Jen, Matt, Tim and Jen......here's your sneak peek!  Hope you enjoy these images as much as I do :)

This past Saturday I had a really fun session with the "M" family!  We met up in Los Gatos so I could spend some time capturing them as a family. Ben is 4 1/2 and Kayla is 2.  We had a such a good time together running around, playing ball, blowing bubbles and even watching a squirrel toss acorns at us from a tree.  Stephanie and Hector, thank you for allowing me to spend time with your family!  I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!!

Last Monday, I had an impromtu session scheduled with Tyler and Kaitlin.  The last time I saw these two cuties, Kaitlin wasn't even a year old nor was she walking.  That has changed!  Kaitlin is walking all over the place and pretty much running to keep up with her big brother.  We had a fun evening playing in their beautiful backyard.  Our night was filled with cool play structures, bubbles, sandboxes, water hoses and red wagons.  Kristin, here are a few of my favorites from our session.  Hope you enjoy them!

Peyton is 2!  On January 17th, we celebrated Peyton's 2nd birthday with Paul, Rachel and about 50 other people :).  There were trains, bounce houses, play structures, cake, presents and lots of kids!  I think a good time was had by all.  Peyton, hope you had a wonderful day and I can't believe you are 2!  Paul and Rach here are a few images from the day.  Many more to come :)

2 weeks!  That's how old this little guy was.  I had the pleasure of photographing Alexander this past weekend along with his big sister Zoe and his mom and dad.  What a great family!  Alex was pretty sleepy as most newborns are and was a perfect angel for our session.  Zoe was quite entertaining as well.  You've got to see her big blue eyes and I have no doubt that Alex will have the same beautiful eyes.  Samantha and Nikko, it was great to spend time with your family!  Here's your sneak peek.  I hope to have your online gallery ready this weekend.  Enjoy!
